What an awesome kit, went together very well, I had a bit of trouble with the ears but if I read the instructions properly and started with a digital protractor to set the angles correctly they would have been easy too. I paid fairly close attention to getting the mountain and valley angles correct and the kit basically put its self together. Next job to weld it, currently tossing up mig as it would be quick but I also might look at silicon bronze tig probably mig it tho should be able get nice small beads with some .6 or .8 wire will keep you posted, but a great kit loved making it
this is my second time ordering a complete starter pack, it has been a lot of help to have just have materials to practice with and to get used to using the tig. still working out what works the best, gas flow, cups and settings to use with what material. slowing picking up the stainless steel but will need a few more packs to get the alloy i think. thanks again tig tickets
Thanks mate. I haven’t started the project I have in mind but once I’m past the gather material stage I’ll send a few pics. The photo I included isn’t from the materials you supplied but it is my first attempt at tigging and just more of a thank you for be so helpful and quick with your product. Thanks again
Great package for people who are looking to improve their skills or are trying a new technique.
Not the easiest to tig weld but having clean, consistent materials definitely makes it easier.
Arrive not long after ordering, stainless, alloy and titanium is what I ordered. Looks like very clean and quality stuff but haven't tried welding on it yet. Great stuff thank you.
