Recommended welding settings and instructions
Below we have added a list of our recommended settings. Please keep in mind that TIG welding settings are variable person to person and machine to machine. Use these settings as a guideline and then fine tune them to suit your own personal welding style. If you need any help don't hesitate to contact us!

Aluminium Kits
- 3mm Aluminium coupon kit
- Fillet weld: 165amps
- Outside corner weld: 120amps
- we suggest using a white tipped (Zirconiated) Tungsten
- 3mm Aluminium cube kit
- Outside corner weld: 120amps
- We suggest using a white tipped (Zirconiated) Tungsten
- 2mm Aluminium coupon kit
- Fillet weld: 120amps
- Outside corner weld: 100 amps
- We suggest using a white tipped (Zirconiated) Tungsten
- 2mm Aluminium cube kit
- Outside corner weld: 100 amps
- We suggest using a white tipped (Zirconiated) Tungsten

Stainless Steel Kits
- 2mm Stainless steel coupon kit
- Fillet weld 75 amps
- Outside corner weld: 50 amps
- We suggest using a red tipped (Thoriated) Tungsten
- 2mm Stainless steel cube kit
- Outside corner weld: 50 amps

- Fillet weld 110 amps
- Outside corner weld: 85 amps

Puzzle Kits
Our puzzle kits are best welded at around 40 amps using 1mm filler wire. This helps to keep the weld small and neat giving the best end result. Take great care with your fitup, and let the piece cool in between runs. We have a video showing the best fit up methods below.
